Drawing & Painting

The Drawing and Painting Program at Reedley College provides an opportunity for students to gain introductory experience in the ﬁeld of drawing and painting. Courses in drawing provide students opportunities to build and hone their 2-Dimensional skills. Courses in Painting provide students with introductory experience in working with Oils and Acrylic mediums as well as foundations in color theory. The Drawing and Painting department provides students with the needed skillset needed to successfully enter university level art programs as well as develop personal experience and fulﬁllment in the visual arts. With a full complement of studio equipment, the Drawing and Painting Department offers students all the needed tools to engage visual art production and development. The Drawing and Painting Studios are open ﬁve days a week with open studio time on Fridays for students work on personal and course work.
