NASHVILLE, TN - The Reedley College Agriculture Department has won many awards at the state level. This year, they've added a national honor to the trophy case. The National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) named Reedley College the Outstanding Postsecondary Agriculture Program Award winner in Region 1 for 2025, which covers the Western United States (California, Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington & Wyoming). The award was presented to our department at the NAAE Convention in Nashville, Tennessee December 10. "To win an award of this magnitude speaks volumes of the excellent work our Agriculture Department does day in and day out," said Reedley College President Dr. Jerry Buckley. "We've been fortunate to win the postsecondary ag program award at the state level eight times, so to be recognized on a national scale for the same honor is a model of consistency and quality by our faculty and staff that benefits our students in the best way possible." The Outstanding Postsecondary Agriculture Program Award recognizes exemplary community college and technical school agriculture departments for excellence in curriculum, student leadership, experiential learning, and community impact. The 2025 NAAE Convention runs December 8-12, bringing together the top agriculture programs and educators in the country.
