We’re never surprised whenever we find out our agriculture department wins an award, but this one has a different ring to it. At the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference in Canyon, Texas April 9-12, our Agriculture Mechanics team won a national championship. The team of Elliot Mercer, Denise Gomez, Brandon Machado and Riley Smith have a lot to be proud of. Competitions were held at the West Texas A&M campus against community colleges across the country.
