We understand that recent events, including the presidential election, may bring uncertainty or concern. Please know that Reedley College is here for you. Your health, safety, and success are our priorities.

The California Dream Act Application will remain available for eligible students during the 2026-2027 financial aid cycle, including those with parents or spouses without a Social Security Number.

Step 1 - Submit the FAFSA or CADAA

 

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Federal School Code - 001308

The FAFSA is for US/Naturalized Citizens, Permanent Residents, or eligible non-citizens. 

Both the student and their parent (if applicable) are required to use an FSA ID, made up of a username and password, to electronically sign the FAFSA.  The FSA ID is used to confirm your identity when accessing your financial aid information and federal student aid documents. To create an FSA ID, please visit the FSA ID Website.

 

Then submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

 

You will need 2023 income information to fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA.  This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2026.

You will need 2024 income information to fill out the 2026-2027 FAFSA.  This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027.

 

California Dream Act Application (CADAA)

School Code - 00013080

The CADAA is for undocumented, AB540-eligible students. 

 

Submit the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) to be processed by the California Student Aid Commission.   

 

You will need 2023 income information to fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA.  This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026.

You will need 2024 income information to fill out the 2026-2027 FAFSA.  This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027.


 

Step 2 - Complete your Financial Aid File

 

Check your RC student email regularly. 

The RC Financial Aid Office will notify you if you need to submit documentation to the RC Financial Aid Office, and when your Financial Aid Offer Letter is ready to view.

 

Check your Self Service. 

On Self-Service through your SCCCD My Portal, you can view your Financial Aid Offer Letter, see if anything is missing, and sign up for a direct deposit.

 


 

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • October 1, 2025: FAFSA & Dream Act financial aid applications became available for the 2026-2027 school year, and will be available through June 30, 2027.
  • October 1, 2025 - March 2, 2026: Application for the 2026-2027  RC Scholarships is available to submit. Visit our Scholarships page for more information.
  • March 2, 2026: FAFSA & Dream Act priority filing deadline for Cal Grant awards for the 2026-2027 school year.
