Program Highlights
The State Center Welding Program is an innovative not-for-credit cohort-based workforce development program that seeks to train individuals in the community for a career in the in-demand field of welding.
Over 18 weeks of accelerated training, students gain the skills and knowledge they need to have a successful career as a welder. Program completers will have the opportunity to gain their American Welding Society (AWS) certifications in GMAW, FCAW and SMAW welding.

- Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG)
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG)
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
- Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)

- Program Dates:
- June 24, 2025 - October 25, 2025 | Mondays: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Classroom) |Tuesdays & Fridays: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Lab) | Saturdays: 8:00 am -3:30 pm (Lab)
Registration Fee

Job placement assistance available upon completion of the training!

Combination of in-person and online training.
Welding Lab is located at FCC West Fresno Campus (Welding Lab) - 600 E Church Avenue, Fresno, CA 93706
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received up to five (5) working days before the course start date are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee. Please note that if you don't cancel and don't attend, you are responsible for payment.
