Program prepares students for entrance into the manufacturing technology workforce or transfer to a four-year college.

We offer the whole package of skills needed to get a high paying job. Reedley College Manufacturing program is the only program in the valley that combines welding, machining, fabrication, electrical and hydraulics. This combination prepares students with a variety of skills necessary to succeed in a manufacturing career.

Central Valley FAME

Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) develops highly skilled, globally competitive, well-rounded, and sought-after talent that can meet the unique needs and challenges of today’s modern manufacturing workforce. FAME graduates transition into well-paying, diverse career pathways in critical disciplines across the manufacturing industry.

Those selected for a FAME training program will start a work/study program to earn an associate degree. FAME Students attend classes at Reedley College two days a week (8+ hours each day) and work at least 24 hours a week (8+ hours each day for three days). Here are some features of FAME.

  • Potential for zero student loan debt
  • Opportunity to continue working full-time for sponsoring employer after program completion
  • Option to continue your education in an advanced manufacturing engineer or engineering technician program with a participating university.
