Reedley College's Statement In Support for our Asian-American and Pacific Islander Communities

Mar 19, 2021

Good evening -

Reedley College condemns all recent acts of violence directed at members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.  We support our AAPI community members and others who have come under attack since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is unacceptable for members of our society to persecute and scapegoat others because of race, skin color, cultural heritage, ethnic origin, religion, LGBTQ affiliation, and/or other reasons.  Our college denounces all of the hatred and hostile attacks focused on the AAPI community witnessed in recent months.

Reedley College reaffirms its commitment to the safety and well-being of all faculty, staff and students on our campus and wants to reassure our AAPI community members that they are not alone.
