Extended Learning Agriculture Technology

All Extending Learning classes are tuition-free. There is health fee paid each semester regardless of the number of classes taken. The health fee is $21 fall and spring semester and $18 for summer for classes on Reedley College campus. For students taking classes exclusively online or off campus, the health fee is $13. Other fees might include materials and textbooks; the estimated cost for each class can be found in the table(s) below.

Upon completion of the course, students will understand all aspects of the Fresh Fruit industry including, planting, harvest, processing, packaging, sales and forecasting. They will also have an understanding of the various types of advanced technology that is used in packing, harvesting, logistics and sales.
