Scholarships are a financial resource provided by local businesses, community groups, alumni, and a variety of private sources. The funds help to assist students in paying for their higher education expenses. Unlike loans, they do not have to be paid back. Scholarships are limited funds and awarded on a competitive and/or special criteria basis, such as grade point average or academic major.
Reedley College offers over $100,000 in scholarships, via the Reedley College Foundation and the State Center Community College Foundation, to students attending Reedley College, Madera Community College Center, or Oakhurst Community College Center. Scholarship awards range from $100-$1,000 and only one application is required to be considered for all scholarships! Applications are submitted online and become available to students in October annually with the deadline in March annually. Awards are announced in June for the following fall semester.
The Reedley College Scholarship Application opens annually on October 1st. The annual deadline to submit applications is March 2nd with scholarship awarded for the following Fall semester.
