Why Study Accounting at Reedley College

A student who completes the outlined course of study will be prepared for employment in the accounting field. These students will have ac­quired skills in basic accounting, both manual and computerized. Students will acquire some managerial, cost and manufacturing accounting skills which will prepare them for accounting data and enable them to analyze and make decisions.

Accounting is the language of business and foundation for success in the business world that opens many doors to the students.  When the students are looking for a lucrative, but challenging profession in business, the accounting is a good place to start.  Accounting affects virtually every business field, including small to large businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and educational institutions.
