  • Construct clear and concise messages
  • Manage nonverbal behaviors and listening skills to improve communication

Essential Skills of Leadership | April 14 (4 hours)

  • Inspire, empower, and motivate team members
  • Work with team members in a way that enhances employee self-esteem
  • Involve team members in solving problems and decision making

Developing Performance Goals & Standards | April 21 (4 hours)

  • Use performance management skills to hold employees accountable
  • Develop clear work standards using the SMART approach (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-oriented, and Time-specific)
  • Involve team members in creating performance standards

Providing Performance Feedback | April 28 (4 hours)

  • Use a fair, fact-based, and collaborative approach for feedback sessions
  • Improve work performance while maintaining employee self-esteem
  • Develop a systematic approach to performance improvement

  • Wednesdays: April 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2021
  • Each session is a total of 4 hours
  • 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
