Reedley College, along with many local businesses, is proud to sponsor the 4th Annual Constitution Week on Thursday, Sept. 21 and Friday, Sept. 22. “Residents of the San Joaquin Valley should take pride in the fact that the Constitution Week conference at Reedley College is the largest of its kind in California and one of the largest in the United States,” said Reedley College political science instructor Dr. Bryan Tellalian, who coordinates the event.
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is David Webb, Host of the David Webb Show on SiriusXM Patriot 125. Webb is also a frequent contributor to Fox News and Breitbart News and is a columnist for The Hill. He will be speaking on Friday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Reedley College Student Center.
Constitution Week events begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21. Highlights from that day include a Law Enforcement Panel at 9 a.m., various legislative and political speakers from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., and a District Attorney Panel at 2:30 p.m. Events on Friday, Sept. 22 begin at 10 a.m. with a Elections Panel, followed by California State Assembly Member Devon Mathis (R-26th Dist.) at 11 a.m., and a Panel on the Judiciary beginning at 12:30 p.m. All events are in the Student Center and are free and open to the public.
“Bringing in great speakers and our local officials to share their knowledge of the Constitution has been a great benefit to our students,” explained Tellalian. “Reedley College and local businesses have been very generous with their support. We could not impact this many students without their support and the support of the community.”

Reedley College, established in 1926, is a campus of State Center Community College District. Reedley College is comprised of the main campus located in Reedley and college centers located in Madera and Oakhurst. The college and centers serve approximately 15,000 students annually.
