Reedley College will begin the season with a new head coach. Steve Pearse comes to Reedley from UCLA where he was an assistant coach. Steve helped guide the Bruins to the College World Series in Omaha Nebraska on June 29, 2010. The Bruin team that Pearse helped coach was the best team in UCLA history with a 51-17 record which was 34 games above .500. The team was ranked #2 in the nation and made its first appearnce in the finals of the College World Series.
