High School Enrichment

HIGH SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

High school students in the 11th and 12th grades who can benefit from advanced scholastic or vocational work can enroll in college courses and receive college credit through the High School Enrichment Program, if their high school is participating in the college program.

A student may qualify to apply for the enrichment program with a cumulative high school GPA of at least a 2.5, approval from the high school principal, a high school counselor, and a parent. All courses listed in the Reedley College schedule are available to the High School Enrichment student, providing these courses are not offered or are not generally available at the high school campus. However, students must meet all the necessary prerequisites for any course in which they wish to enroll. Students admitted to the program are treated as new Reedley College students each semester attended and must follow the time frame for new student registration.

Tuition fees will be waived for students participating in the high school enrichment program.  Students are still responsible for paying the mandatory health fee each term.

High school students must begin the process with their high school counselor. A Reedley College Admissions Application (paper version only) along with the High School Enrichment application, and a copy of the student’s high school transcripts and the Reedley College Placement Exam are required before a student can submit a High School Enrichment application.

High school enrichment students need to complete an admissions application and a high school enrichment application packet each semester they wish to enroll.
