Residence Hall

Summer, Fall and Spring 2018-2019 Housing Contracts will be available on this page or in the Housing Office at Reedley College on May 1, 2018.

Choosing to live in the Reedley College Residence Hall is one of the best ways to adjust to college life while building a strong network of friends. The Residence Hall offers a variety of leadership opportunities. It is a safe, clean, welcoming, 24 hour staffed two story living facility with separate housing for 100 men and 100 women.

The Residence Hall is located on the south end of the campus. Women are housed on the second floor, and men are housed on the first floor with a common recreation room, computer lab, and full kitchen for student use. It offers students comfortable and inexpensive living in an environment conducive to learning and studying. Separate restroom and laundry facilities are provided on each floor.


Contracts are written to house two students per room and are written on a semester basis. The resident rooms include two beds and mattresses an attached desks, two chairs, two wardrobe closets, two sets of drawers. Each room has individually controlled heating and air-conditioning. Students are allowed to have a refrigerator in his or her room.


Residence Hall supervisors are responsible for, and in immediate charge of, the Residence Hall staff.
The staff includes resident students who live in assigned rooms on each of the floors.
Para-professional staff is available during the evenings and late night, 7 days a week.

The office is located on the first floor of the complex.


Residence Hall students and staff are concerned with creating and maintaining a good study environment within the Residence Hall. Therefore, courtesy hours are in effect from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. During these hours, conditions conducive to study and sleep are required in the hall and in the immediate vicinity.

A 6-station computer lab is available to the residents.


Residents have access to outdoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and gymnasium activities. Leisure activities are planned by Residence Hall staff to provide relaxation and the opportunity for the residents to make new friends.


Residence Hall students must be single, fully matriculated, and enrolled in and maintain at least
12 units throughout the current semester, and upon completion of the semester attain a G.P.A.
of 2.0 or better. Application deadlines are shown below. Applications will be processed on a space available basis. Confirmation of housing will be based on the following deadlines:

1) May 31, 2017 — Returning residents
2) June 1, 2017 — High school seniors from the State Center Community College District, and students from other California high schools.
3) July 1, 2017 — Out of state and foreign students.

Fall 2017 & Spring 2018


Contract Fee $150.00

Breakdown: $100.00 Damage/Cleaning, $40.00 RH Club & $10.00 Tiger One Card

A non-refundable contract fee of $150.00 is required upon return of the Residence Hall contract. The non-refundable fee covers the processing of the contract, damage and cleaning costs as well as social and educational activities for Residence Hall students.

Men (2 residents per room)

Semester Rent $1,839.00 Double Occupancy

Mandatory Semester Meal Plan $975.00

Total Semester $2,814.00

Five monthly payments of $542.80

Women (2 residents per room)

Semester Rent $1,839.00 Double Occupancy

Mandatory Semester Meal Plan $975.00

Total Semester $2,814.00

Five monthly payments of $562.80

Fee Payment Options

Residence Hall students have two options for paying their housing fees:

1) Pay the entire semester fee all at once $2,814.00, or

2) Pay the scheduled payments of $562.80 per month for 5 months

a. The first payment is due upon arrival at move-in

b. The following payments are due on the 5th of each month

                i. September 5, 2017 - $562.80

                ii. October 5, 2017 - $562.80

                iii. November 5, 2017 - $562.80

                iv. December 5, 2017 - $562.80

c. The Spring semester payments are due as follows:

                i. January 5, 2018 - $562.80

                ii. February 5, 2018 - $562.80

                iii. March 5, 2018 - $562.80

                iv. April 5, 2018 - $562.80

                v. May 5, 2018 - $562.80

3) Payments need to be current for student to register for the next semester

*A student's actual monthly payment may change with a larger meal plan, financial aid availablity, and a later enrollment in the online payment plan. To lower your actual monthly payments, it is highly recommended that students apply for financial aid (visit the Reedley College Financial Aid office or A copy of the student's Financial Aid Award Letter is mandatory and must be proved to the Residence Hall office BEFORE the student is allowed to move in.

MAKE A PAYMENT ONLINE (directly through WebAdvisor)


Residence Hall residents are required to show proof of medical insurance (i.e. Blue Cross,

Blue Shield, Kaiser, Medi-Cal etc.) If the student is not covered under a medical plan, he/she

must purchase the student health insurance plan available through the housing office.

Residents can not move into the Residence Hall without medical insurance.


Students living in the Residence Hall must purchase a meal plan, and there are additional meal plan options to choose from. Information on meal plans can be obtained by contacting the Reedley College Food Service Manager at (559) 638-0300 ext. 3679.
